About Us
Skedaddle is an emerging collective of physical performers on a mission to awaken their audience’s inner child.
Our Mission:
Inspired by the likes of Charlie Chaplin, Mr Bean and Tom and Jerry, we combine mime, narrative and physical comedy to tell stories about what it is to be a person in this absurd and delightful world.
Skedaddle Theatre is a young company born out of the Physical Theatre course at East 15 Acting school, a Lecoq-based training where we discovered our loves for physical comedy and began making work together.
Meet the Team
-
Samuel Cunningham
Sam is a physical theatre performer, puppeteer and maker based in London. Sam is currently performing with Lyngo Theatre Company on their one word physical comedy, clowning production of Hay!
He is excited by how puppetry and the human body can be used to convey abstract storytelling. He is inspired by the classic work of Buster Keaton and how this type of work can be reimagined in today’s theatre and film industry.

Lennie Longworth
Lennie is a physical performer/theatre maker based in Sheffield where she is a supported artist with Sheffield Theatres. As well as co-founding Skedaddle, she is an associate artist with various companies including Flabbergast Theatre, The David Glass Ensemble, Lyngo theatre and Resound Theatre.
She is endlessly curious about people’s stories, why they are the way they are and how that can be translated through physicality, voice and narrative.
